I like cheese and I like pasta, but won’t eat Mac-n-cheese. The sound of it reminds me of what I think a bowl full of brains would be like…all of those “splorch, schlurp, glorp” type noises. I love salsa, but won’t normally eat a tomato or onion.
I’m also a firm believer that people who eat eggs are just too impatient. I think one should TOTALLY wait for those eggs to grow up into full-sized, delicious chickens before eating them. Eggs, you see, are part of my Nasty Foodgroup. There’s the normal Meat, Vegetables, Grains, Dairy, Fruit…and then there’s the very bottom of the Pyramid…the Nasty Foodgroup.
Members of the Nasty Foodgroup include the aforementioned eggs, plus celery, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers (but not pickles), casseroles of pretty much any sort, corn pudding (specifically creamed or pudding…whole kernel or on the cob is fine), Spam, Mayonnaise on anything but a club sandwich or in tuna fish, anything under the umbrella term of “squash,” and…well…the list goes on.
